AUTHOR/ILLUSTRATOR

Hello!

My name is Zach Orr. I'm from the Metro Atlanta area. I've been drawing since I could hold a crayon, but until recently I never took my art anywhere beyond a hobby. I studied music in college and have used my gifts working in a local church for the last 16 years with lots of freelance graphic design, murals, and web design sprinkled throughout. In 2019 a local children's book author found me and asked if I'd be interested in some illustration work. At that point I rediscovered a passion I had long ignored.

While I feel like I'm late to the game and still have plenty to learn, I'm excited to see where this road leads me and who I'll have the opportunity to meet along the way.

I'm currently not represented by an agency. I'm interested in illustrating picture books and book covers. It's my passion to write and illustrate stories that help kids grasp more complicated subjects, while hopefully laughing a little along the way. I live in Georgia with my wonderful wife, two beautiful girls, and two dogs.
